We provide customised funeral cover solutions to both voluntary and compulsory group schemes, and arrange underwriting, collect premiums, process claims and manage the risk on these schemes. Our story

BGSA was founded in 1999 with one clear mission: to provide families with the support they need during life’s most difficult moments. The founder, a woman with an unwavering commitment to helping others, saw firsthand how overwhelming the complexities of funeral insurance could be. Her vision was to create a company that would serve as a trusted, compassionate partner to guide families through the tough times.

In July 2021, the company faced a profound loss with the passing of its founder. Yet, even in grief, the spirit of her vision remained strong. Her daughter, who had joined the company in 2013, stepped forward to lead BGSA, determined to carry forward the legacy of compassion and care that her mother had built.

With time, BGSA has grown, and today, the company is run by a husband-and-wife team, who are deeply committed to honoring the values that have always defined the business. Together, they continue to serve each client with the same level of trust, empathy, and dedication that has been the hallmark of BGSA since its inception.

More than just an administrative service for funeral insurance, BGSA is a family business, grounded in understanding and compassion. We know that the loss of a loved one is not just a financial concern — it’s an emotional journey, and we are here to help families through every step of it.
